Delete your Compare Pryce account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Compare Pryce app (by Compare Pryce, Australia) and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to contact@comparepryce.com with the subject "Delete my account".
2. Send it from the email address you use to sign in. If you signed in with Apple using "Hide My Email", tell us the relay address (it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com and is listed on your iPhone under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple).
3. We will confirm by email and delete your account and data within 30 days.

If you can't send from that address, email us anyway and we'll help you verify that the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (email address, hashed password, Google or Apple sign-in link)
• Your favourites
• Your shopping lists and their items

Your selected stores are saved only on your device. Uninstall the app or clear its data to remove them.

What may be kept

• Security and request logs, which are not linked to your account, are kept only for a limited period and then deleted.
• Residual copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days of deletion.
• Information we must keep by law, if any.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can remove individual favourites and shopping lists in the app at any time. To have this data removed for you, email us and say what you'd like deleted.
